TRANSCRIPTIONS AND ARRANGING 

 

Most of my transcription and arranging work is for solo guitar. If I am transcribing (writing down) music from a previous guitar composition into manuscript and TAB the hourly rate is $90. You will receive professionally printed pages from either Tabledit, Finale and soon from Dorico. Finale is no longer supported (but I can still use it for now) and I am transferring my writing program to Dorico once the programed is mastered. 

If I am creating an arrangement for guitar from different instruments the hourly rate is $100.

I also transcribe and arrange for string quartet, wind ensemble, guitar ensemble, chamber and full orchestra, eclectic ensembles – unusual combinations of instruments, piano, and occasionally jazz band. These transcriptions and/or arrangements are $100 pr hour. 

Paper copies will be provided (if needed) as well as a PDF. 

I have been transcribing and arranging for 45 years. It's work I greatly enjoy.
